The Health Fund worked in partnership with Lisa Hancock, PhD, to develop a series of sermon guides that bring together scripture, theology, and health to help congregations connect their faith to health.

Advent Series on Hunger<\/strong>
As people of faith, our hearts and our values call us to feed the hungry. Our commitment to justice, mercy and love in action drives us to come together toward a future where families and children no longer fear whether they\u2019ll eat tomorrow. During Advent season, the Health Fund partnered with the Great Plains Conference to offer resources to help raise awareness of the profound impacts of food insecurity and to illustrate how each of us can help.

Governor’s Commission on Racial Equity and Justice<\/strong><\/a>
The commission studied issues of racial equity and justice across systems in Kansas. The Health Fund co-hosted a series of webinars on the commission’s recommendations and Health Fund President David Jordan is co-authoring monthly commentaries on the recommendations throughout 2022.
