{"id":815,"date":"2024-09-13T14:39:55","date_gmt":"2024-09-13T20:39:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/healthfund.org\/a\/?p=815"},"modified":"2024-09-16T07:23:34","modified_gmt":"2024-09-16T13:23:34","slug":"kim-moore-award-for-visionary-leadership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/healthfund.org\/a\/kim-moore-award-for-visionary-leadership\/","title":{"rendered":"Nomination form &#8211; Kim Moore Visionary Leadership Award"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2017, the United Methodist Health Ministry Fund Board of Directors voted to honor the organization&#8217;s founding president with the establishment of the <a href=\"https:\/\/healthfund.org\/a\/about\/kmvla\/\">Kim Moore Award for Visionary Leadership<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each year, the Fund solicits nominations in a chosen strategic field of work and honors one individual whose leadership has had a positive effect on the health of a specific group of persons. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For 2024, the Health Fund is inviting nominations for a leader who has previously or is currently serving in the strategic area of <a href=\"https:\/\/healthfund.org\/a\/areas-of-focus\/thriving-children\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"65\">Thriving Children<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The winner of the award will be honored at a ceremony in May 2025. The individual will receive a cash award of $500, and if associated with an organization, that agency will receive an additional $2,000 to use as it deems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please direct any questions about this award to <a href=\"mailto:katie@healthfund.org\">Katie Schoenhoff<\/a>, Vice President of Programs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To nominate a candidate, please complete the online form below or include the same information in an email or letter to Katie Schoenhoff (<a href=\"mailto:katie@healthfund.org\">katie@healthfund.org<\/a> \/ United Methodist Health Ministry Fund, PO Box 1384, Hutchinson, KS 67504-1384). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nominations need to be received in the Health Fund office by November 15. If you previously nominated an individual who was not selected, you are welcome to renominate that person for the 2024 award.
