Prior to joining the Health Fund, Jackie contributed to local, community and statewide initiatives in Kansas and Missouri, advancing efforts to support children and families through capacity building, evaluation and strategic planning. She served as an assistant director at the University of Kansas Center for Public Partnerships and Research, where much of her work focused on collaboratively supporting early childhood and maternal health in rural communities.
Jackie has also served as a community health educator for youth in Kansas City and has worked supporting transitional housing and wraparound services for young adults experiencing mental illness and homelessness in Cleveland.
Jackie earned her master’s and PhD in social psychology from the University of Kansas.
In her free time, she can be found out for a run, curled up with a good book or walking her energetic golden retriever with her family. She also loves watching live concerts from the comfort of her home and singing her heart out in the car.
